My Top 5 Best Hand Creams – #WashYourHands

I’m glad one of the ways we can all do our bit to stop the spread of infectious diseases is by washing our hands properly with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, multiple times a day. It’s always a good idea to wash hands after being on public transport, when working in an office or school and of course, before eating or preparing food. I hope this basic hygiene thing continues “when THIS is all over”.  However, your hands may not be used to all this extra washing and would like some additional TLC. I’m no beauty blogger, but I know a thing or two about hand creams. I like to keep my hands hydrated, soft and supple. Here are my top hand cream recommends to suit all budgets.

The Ultimate

Always, always grab a free handful of this when you walk past an Aesop shop. It’s so gorgeous you might even spend £70 on the full size bottle.

Aesop Resurrection Aromatique Hand Balm £21 (75ml)

The Favourite

This smells like Agent Provocateur perfume. It has a beautiful calming smell and feels deeply satisfying.

Neals Yard Geranium and Orange Hand Cream £10 (50ml)

The Best

A good solid neutral smell and very hardworking. This cream will repair the roughest hands without using nasty chemicals.

Weleda Skin Food £12.95 (75ml)

The Classic

If you like the smell of hemp you’ll love this. Lasts for ages and comes in a industrial strength tube.

Hemp Hand Protector £12 (100ml)

The Basic

If you’re on a budget, Palmer’s range of creams for hand and body are the brill. If you’re not that into cocoa butter, you’ll love the coconut version and now there’s raw shea to try. Decadence for pennies.

Palmer’s Shea Formula Raw Shea Hand Cream £2.49 60ml
